She said the shellfish helps part of the problem but not all of the <br /> problem. <br /> Mashpee Nutrient Control Bylaw; No Update on AG Approval <br /> The Chair gave an update on the Mashpee Nutrient Bylaw. He found out a decision <br /> was made to send it to the Cape Cod Commission for approval before it went to the <br /> AG's Office for final approval. He is hoping to have an update fairly soon. <br /> Town Wide Stormwater Management Plan (including Santuit Pond) Update <br /> Ashley Fisher gave an update on the water quality at Santuit Pond. She said they have <br /> an advisory up due to the recent bacteria blooms. She noted she has had a lot of <br /> questions regarding why the solar bees aren't working. She wanted to clarify they are <br /> working. The chair noted we need to educate people to recognize what are some of the <br /> potential sources of runoff. <br /> DNR and MEC (PALS) Pond & Estuary Water Quality Monitoring: No Update <br /> REPORTS <br /> Conservation Department Report: <br /> Herring Run Fish Ladder Improvements; Herring Count Program wl APCC: Update <br /> Katelyn Cadoret stated the Herring Count Program season is over. It was extended <br /> beyond the June 1 deadline. She noted it was a great year and the data is still being <br /> analyzed. She said everything is moving forward as far as the culvert replacement for <br /> Sampson's Mill Road. <br /> Pollinator Gardens: Update <br /> Katelyn reported the pollinator gardens are. going very well, especially at Jehu has a lot <br /> of different species blooming. It is remarkable to see how that garden is taking off. The <br /> Chair stated he has some native plants that he could donate to the gardens. <br /> Land Stewards Program: Update <br /> She said they have an intern helping to create programs. She will be with us until she <br /> goes to college in September. The Chair suggested having the intern work on an event <br /> promoting the shellfish program. <br /> Interactive Trail Mapping: Update <br /> No Update <br /> Vehicle Damage to and Dumping on Conservation Lands: Update <br /> Katelyn noted there hasn't been a lot of vehicle trespassing issues. She said <br /> unfortunately the dumping is still happening. She noted someone got caught driving their <br /> vehicle out from Wills Work Road and she issued a violation. <br /> Quashnet River Restoration/Realignment Project: Update <br />
