10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 7, 2019 <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Wastewater: In considering the costs associated to layouts,the collection system and wastewater <br /> treatment it was suggested the Town develop certain sewer code use standard and determinations for <br /> system types to be incorporated into new road layouts and existing road layouts slated for <br /> reconstruction. It was agreed this proactive action would be further defined and improved upon with <br /> betterment policies and standards of costs, a matter to be considered at a future meeting. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommended the DPW Road Plan for upcoming road construction be <br /> reviewed to consider the potential to install dry mains, and at minimum within main roads. <br /> The briefing on Mashpee's existing Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan will be reviewed <br /> on Monday, January 14, 2019 with various regulatory boards and committees. The meeting will <br /> continue to Tuesday, January 15, 2019 to consider best practices for managing operations and to <br /> consider watershed agreements and funding streams. <br /> Assembly of Delegates: The Cape Cod Commission is noted to be supportive of obtaining funds to <br /> purchase a smaller dredge to create improved flows in the estuaries. At this time, an additional <br /> County dredge is being considered for purchase. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn at 6:39 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
