patrons is 300 to 500. Over time, as efficiencies are learned and employed,
appointments will no longer be required. As the patrons become more accustomed to
procedures and more patrons take advantage of pre-ordering, that number is expected
to increase to 700 or more .per day. As numbers increase, Triple M will make the
necessary modifications in operating hours and internal operating procedures to avoid
vehicular traffic issues.
SAFETY&SECURITY,
Under the guidance of its Director of Security (a retired Massachusetts State Police Detective
Lieutenant) Triple M has in place a robust safety and security program which is
supervised on a daily basis by two experienced security officers (both retired Mashpee Police
officers). Triple M also contracts with a local security firm which provides intrusion and
fire alarm protection and 24 hour video surveillance monitoring which is also remotely
available to Triple M's management. In addition, there are in-depth logistical protocols
in place to protect the safety of patients, employees and the public as well as a powerful
"seed to sale" inventory control system. There are stringent policies and practices in
place to thwart the diversion of any product. The physical facility is fully enclosed by
perimeter fencing, entries are secured. by locked 'gates and the entire site is fully
illuminated. Video cameras monitor the interior and exterior premises 24/7. Limited
access areas within the facility are accessible only by special electronic access cards. The
gatehouse is staffed by trained personnel to insure no entry is gained without proper
identification and the identification.process is repeated at the registration/check-in
station within the dispensary. These existing protocols will remain in place with the
expansion to include Adult-Use sales. With expansion to Adult-Use, additional security
officers will be added. Triple M plans to continue recruit additional security who are
retired public safety.officers or others with public safety experience.
ESTIMATED DATE for OPENING:
The estimated opening will be driven by the permitting process at both the local and
state levels. The local level involves meeting with the Plan/Design Review Coi.ttee,
the Board of Health, meetings with the heads of individual departments as necessary
and then a hearing with the ZBA to modify Triple M's existing Special Permit. The time
to complete the entire process for Triple M's Medical RMD Special Permit was about six
months. Triple M is ready now to begin the process to modify the existing Special
Permit, which because it is a modification, should be completed in about 60 to So days.
Prior to filing a license conversion application with the CCC, Triple M must hold a
community outreach meeting that provides residents and other stakeholders the
opportunity to leam and ask questions about the marijuana dispensary. Triple M is
prepared to move promptly to schedule the outreach meeting. The licensing process at
the Cannabis Control Commission is comprehensive and a system is in place to ensure
