Vote unanimous -o <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> E <br /> 1, Guests—Torn Cahir and Paula George, CCRTA <br /> Di"senssion—Homebound Harvest Proposal <br /> The Director introduced Tom Cahir and Paula George from the Cape Cod Regional <br /> Transit Authority. <br /> Frank Fantasia gave an overvl'ew of the St. Vincent De Paul's food pantry, its operation <br /> and trained volunteers. He noted the program is non-denominational and they use the <br /> church facility run by St. Vincent DePaul; They deal with groceries and not prepared <br /> foods and serve about 100 families per week. He described the volunteers pick up the <br /> food in Falmouth with their truck and unloads the groceries at the food pantry at Christ <br /> the Ding Church. He explained there is a need for delivery of groceries to shut.-ins but do <br /> not have a van or driver to provide this service; These individuals would have to he very <br /> well vetted and would have to demonstrate need, He said the issue is they don}t have a <br /> van to prove'de this kind of service and they don't have anyone to drive a van.
