a <br /> Article 1 =Mr. Fudala stated that it had initially been difficult to reach quoru for the <br /> Design Review Committeel but there was now a full membership. The Article would be <br /> indefinitely postponed at Town Meeting, <br /> Article 14-Mr. Fudala stated that the Article was necessary due to changes made to the <br /> State law and the requirement that towns follow the State Zoning Act. There was support for the <br /> Article from Board members. <br /> MOTION: Mr.Balza rini made a motion to recommend approval of Article 14 at Town <br /> Meeting. Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Article 15-Mr. Fudala stated that presently all RV owners were required to seek Plan <br /> Review approval t stoare an RV on their property. Article 15 would allow the storage of one <br /> travel trailer. Approvals would be necessary for trailers larger than 30 feet. There was no <br /> additional discussion. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Bal arini made a motion to recommend Town Meeting approval-of Article <br /> 15. Mr; Kooharian seconded the.motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Article 1 -Mr. Fudala stated that the Article was in response to an individual seeking to <br /> develop a hotel in Mashpee. For feasibility, it was necessary to allow four stories or 50 feet <br /> maximum height. Mr. Hansen in uirod whether the 50 feet would be from natural grade and Mr. <br /> Fudala stated that it was the average of four corners of the natural grade. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balza ~ini made a notion to recommend Town Meeting approval of Article <br /> 16 Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Article 17-Mr.. Fuda.la reported that there had been an inquiry about car washes which <br /> had been allowed only in the Mashpee Commons area. There were no additional comments, <br /> MOTION: Mill+ Balzarini made a motion to recommend to Town Meeting approval of <br /> Article 17 Mr* Kooharian secondee) the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Article 18-lir. Fudala stated that the Article regarding lot coverage had been proposed <br /> by Mr. Morin. r. )Morin suggested that the Article made sense because many smaller lots had <br /> rrierged, but not all and it would be an effort to avoid the construction of McMansions. Paul <br /> Ferrestead, from the Pop ponesset Beach Association Board of Directors, expressed his support <br /> for the Article. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balza rin i made a emotion to recommend 'Down Meeting approval of Article <br /> 18 Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. All voter) unanimously. <br /> Article 19-Mr. Fudala stated that the Article would allow drive-through restaurants in <br /> Cwt zones, A number of existing facilities were not legally permitted. Mr. Weeden inquired <br /> whether it would open up Mashpee to any type of drive-through business and 111.1r. Fudala <br /> confirmed that it would.
