The three lots shared a single driveway. Mr, Fudala stated that <br /> rezoning to -3 would allow for other uses besides doggie daycare, though it was unlikely <br /> anything significant would develop.- The petitioner, Lisa Mcadams from Tally to the Paw, stated <br /> her desire to maintain the site for animal based activities, such as trails, doggie daycare, <br /> aterpark for dogs and dog fennels. The Chair inquired about regulation for fennels and <br /> whether the Health Department regulated dog kennels. A residence was also located-at the site. <br /> Mr. Fudala read through the list of other C3 uses, uses that did not generate significant traffic, to <br /> include assisted living, hospital, nursing home, personal kennel, trade school, professional <br /> ofd cess laboratory, radio/tv studio, restaurant, service business, mortuary business, vet, <br /> commercial center, vehicle rentals, to name a few. <br /> Ms. Mcadams referenced the barn and the hone, acknowledging the benefit of her living on site, <br /> Mr. Fudala stated that the house would be grandfathered, so changing the zoning would not <br /> impact the existence of the home. It was noted that there were tiro'vacant lots abutting the <br /> property. <br /> Resident Mark De:" oss stated his support for MIs. Mcadams request. Two of Mr. DeVoss' dogs <br /> had been under the care of Ms. Mcadams and he spoke highly of her work-and expressed his <br /> support for her commitment to the Town{ <br /> hri Stine Gomes, Board Member of Talk to the Paw, stated that they were seeking 5 01 C3 status <br /> due to their work with autistic children, pet therapy and training rescued dogs for disabled <br /> veterans. Ms. Gomes stated that Talk to the Paw Doggle Daycare was much more than doggie <br /> d a Bare and would benefit many in the community. <br /> Mr. Fudala stated that the site was one of the few places where there would be a residence in a <br /> commercial area, and would be uni clue to the parti cular u se. Mr. B alzarini stated that it was a <br /> good use of the site, <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to recommend to Town Meeting approval of <br /> Article 20 Mr.Kooharian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION: Mr.Balzarini made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Mr*Kooliarian <br /> seconded the motion. All noted unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Mashpee Commons—Discussion of public meetings schedule <br /> Russell Freston, Mashpee Commons Planner, was present to discuss the schedule established for <br /> Mashpee Commons by Design, Mr. Freston distributed schedules to include a public visioning <br /> 3 <br />
