Page 9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 30, 1336 <br /> -NEWB INE - <br /> Change-Order#,�Town,Hall: <br /> Communication was received from Jim Vaccaro, Chairman of the <br /> Town Hall Building Committee dated September 27, 1396 recommending <br /> the Board approve Change order#5 in the amount of$21,500 to resolve <br /> a number of structural issues discovered during the demolition,install <br /> a new roof, and back-flow value and branch lines for a sprinkler system, <br /> and provide electrical service to the second floor of the facility. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Dinizio to approve Change <br /> Order #5 in the amount of $21,500 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters, <br /> VQT E: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the completion of the second floor <br /> of the Town Hall facility. The estimated sum of$250,000 will complete <br /> phase II of the project scope. Selectman Caffyn offered to discuss <br /> potential occupancy issues with the water District. <br /> Letterof R i ation--Personnel Board Member: <br /> Correspondence was received from Ronald Levine dated September 26, <br /> 1996 requesting the Board approve his resignation from the Personnel <br /> Board effective October 1, 1996. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the resignation <br /> of Ronald Levine from the Personnel Board with regret. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> YOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Reglueat gQnited Way of Ca e Cod Inc.: <br /> Communication was received from Lois Andre,Executive Director of <br /> the United way requesting the Board approve a 4x8' sign picturing a <br /> thermometer of donated amounts to be erected at the Mashpee rotary. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to approve the request of <br /> the United ,'Way of Cape Cod, Inc. for signage. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VDJ.F,: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
