Vandrimlen Pg.: 262 238 Pimlico Pond Road (Map 2 Parcel 18) Mashpee, MA 02649 A Petition was filed on February 20, 2019 by Owners, Stephen D. and Pamela J. VanDrimlen requesting a Variance under §174-33 to allow for renovations of an existing single family structure situated within the 50 ft. buffer wetland resource area on property located in R-5 Zoning District, Map 2 Parcel 18, Mashpee, MA. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on February 22, 2019 and March 1, 2019 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §10 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday,March 13,2019 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board Members, Scott Goldstein, and Norman J. Gould, and Associate Member, Sharon Sangeleer. Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza. Pam and Stephen Vandrimlen represented themselves for their renovation project requesting a Variance within the 50 ft. buffer,and they are not changing the footprint. They are lifting the foundation, and renovating the first floor. Mr. Mendoza said they are only requesting relief in the 50 ft. buffer. There are no new non-conformities. Mr. Blaisdell said that Conservation approved the project. Ms. Vandrimlen said they went to the Conservation meeting on February 28, 2019. Sharon read the Board of Health comments into the record. 1
