Letter of approval from the Shellfish Constable (Steps 1 through 14 completed) Commission Comments:No comment ❑ 16. After a completed application is approved by the Shellfish Constable and Harbormaster,the Shellfish Constable will request that it be added to the agenda of the Shellfish Commission and the Waterways Commission. The applicant must appear before the Shellfish Commission prior to the Waterways Commission, unless the applicant is scheduled on both agendas that same day. Commission Comments: Fisher: "This was added because of conflict in scheduling the Waterways Commission meets the same day as the Shellfish Commission in the morning (9 am)." ❑ 17. Letter of approval form the Shellfish Commission. Commission Comments:No comment ❑ 18. Letter of approval from the Waterways Commission. Commission Comments:No comment ❑ 19. After both the Shellfish Commission and the Waterway Commission approve the proposed Aquaculture License Application,the applicant submits the final application to the Board of Selectman for a Public Hearing with a non-refundable application fee of$125 (check or money order payable to the Town of Mashpee). Commission Comments:No comment. ❑ 20. The applicant sends a copy of the public hearing notice by certified mail to all abutting property owners within three hundred (300) feet of the project area 10 days prior to public hearing being held. Commission Comments: Fisher: "Abutter requirement will change to reflect the same information required by the Conservation Commission' Notice of Intent." ❑ 21.Approval from the Mashpee Board of Selectman. Commission Comments:No comment. F� 22. After the Board of Selectman approve the application,the Board sends a letter to the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF)for review and approval.
