The new facility will allow him to expand his equipment, and the footprint of the
building will almost double in size. He is hoping to attract patrons to enjoy coffee roasting, and
perhaps"hands-on"brewing, as well as an outside picnic area. He wants to create an inviting place
for people to.enjoy with outdoor seating that's professionally landscaped.
Signage Discussion:
Jan said that the signage will be identical to what is in place at their current location. The colors will
remain the same, the address number will obviously change, and the hours of operation may be
added. The Plymouth Sign Company may be the vendor to process the permit for the sign. It will
be approximately 8-10 ft, tali.
Joe Cummings asked about the location of the sign. Jan said that the sign will be located in the .
front left corner of the lot. There is no sign on the building.Joe would like the total height of the sign
on a plan, but the rest of the sign meets the specifications at 39 sq. ft.
Miles would like to see the exact location of the sign depicted on the plan.
Building Discussion:
Jan said that the building itself will be a"drift wood grey, and black roof'. There will be no yellow
color.
Evan Lehrer, Town Planner joined the meeting and stated that this application will be brought to
the Planning Board, and will be permitted under the Light Industrial Overlay District, and industrial
uses. The architectural being presented is largely not completed complying with the Cape Cod
Commission guidelines. The Planning Board will review the massing of the building, the dormers,
the gables, the windows, and the length of the frontage on Evergreen Circle.
1
