-2- <br /> Ava also represented the Commission on the Library Evaluation session, planning for the future. <br /> Some of the discussion centered around how the library can work with other groups in town to <br /> co-sponsor programs and work together. <br /> Ava,reported on letters sent to Frank Lord for his retirement as School Master award and Earl <br /> Mills receiving the Commission's first Historical Preservation Award. Ceremony will take place <br /> on June 15 at the Archives starting at 10:00 AM <br /> Richard reported on his efforts in securing the plaques for the two recipients <br /> Joan questioned if anyone knew what happened to the tree planted in memory of Dorothy Cash <br /> with her work with our youth on drugs and alcohol prevention— Richard will ask members of the <br /> Community Park Committee, who are on the War Memorial Committee, if they have any <br /> knowledge of the tree. <br /> Ava brought up the Roles and Responsibilities for the Commission members for the 2019-2020 <br /> year. She expressed her support for Commission outreach to the public through programs like <br /> the monthly Speaker's Program but wanted to hold off on discussion until the June meeting, <br /> when all members would be in attendance. <br /> Ava asked all members to read the wording on the 50 Signage Plaques that she and Earl Mills <br /> have been working on. Brian Hyde suggested to put all 50 out at the same time for members to <br /> review and put all in one location and in one folder.
