The RFB was advertised in the Cape Cod Times, the <br /> Central Register, and COMM Buys. Only one bid from the current vendor was received in <br /> response. <br /> The current vendor also submitted with their bid a proposal for shared use of the <br /> approximately 3-acre yard waste area at the Transfer Station. The vendor would utilize the <br /> area for sale of landscape materials (mulch,top soil, firewood, and aggregate) as well as receipt <br /> of leaves and brush from landscape companies. See attached map. <br /> The use of this area by permit holders would not be affected. Drop off of leaves, limited brush, <br /> and grass clippings from their properties as well as pick up of screened compost-and wood chips <br /> would still be provided at no charge. <br /> Recommendation <br /> 1 recommend that a contract be awarded to Gotta Do Contracting LLC of Jordan, NY for FY20 as <br /> follows: <br /> Operation $483,306.00 <br /> Hauling of Trash to NEWS (> 3500 tons) $600.00 <br />
