RReport of the Report of the Inspector of Wires Animal Control O To the Honorable Board of Selectmen To the Honorable Board of Selectmen � and the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee: Chief of Police Frye and the F Citizens of the Town of Mashpee: I herewith submit my annual report for the year ending December 31, 1992. It is with a great deal of pleasure that I submit my seventh annual report to the community. During the Electrical permits issued 437 $15,885.00 period of January 1,1992 through December 31 1992 the Smoke Alarm permits issued 156 35900.00 following services were provided by this department. Total permits and fees 593 $19,7$5.00 59 dead animal and birds removed f I wish to thank all the Town Officials and personnel of 137 lost animal reports recorded 65 dogs removed to the shelter the various Town Departments, the Commonwealth 77 wild animals removed from domestic Electric Company and Electrical Contractors for their locations F cooperation during the past year. 13,651 miles covered 19 dog bites investigated Respectfully submitted, 14 injured animals and birds treated 21 animals surrendered to the Town John E. Newton 26 citations issued Inspector of Wires 1 show cause hearing held 47 barking complaints investigated 7 horse barns inspected i The two major annual departmental programs were Report of the completed. The January rabies and licensing clinic resulted in one hundred and fifty-eight dogs being Plumbing/Gas Inspector licensed and the department provided the Towns second, p third, and fourthgrade school children with an animal ' safety program. i j To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee: The department's most unusual 1992 event involved a r, female peacock that appeared on Old Barnstable Rd,It I?
