Labute <br /> North side of Quashnet (William Mingo) Road at Great Hay, <br /> Grafton Pocknet, Bog House Roads and Ashers Path <br /> Definitive Plan of "Steeplechase" 48 lot cluster subdivision <br /> For the purpose of this hearing, Mr. Dubin abstained and Mr. Jonas took the chair. <br /> There was a question of adequate access between Lovells Road and the subdivision. <br /> Mr. Nye stated that that was addressed at the preliminary hearing. Because the <br /> road is reasonably well—traveled, it should provide emergency access. Mr. Jonas <br /> stated that he felt that they should have an opinion from Mr. Reardon on this <br /> m atter. It will again comp; before the Board at their next meeting, October 2. <br /> A question was raised- in regards to a property line extending to the middle of <br /> the road. Mr. Jonas would like to see Mr. Reardon give an opinion on this also. <br /> Mr. Bruce Gilmore stated that in regards to the barn and the riding ring, it <br /> would be the owner' s association' s responsibility to construct. The builder <br /> does not intend to construct either one. Mr. Rowley was given data on drainage <br /> calculations from Mr. Nye. Mr. Nye and Mr. Rowley agreed that before the next <br /> meeting, they would discuss the locations of the basins, glades at the steep <br /> intersections, and the leaching trenches. Mr. Nye stated that he would take <br /> care that puddling would not occur in flat area. Discussion on paving of access <br /> road. Mr. Reardon will give his opinion on this also. Mr. Fudala stated that <br /> he felt there were a lot of defects in the plan. Some abutters are not correct. <br /> Mr. Nye stated that the abutters would be listed on the plan. Mr. Nye then <br /> stated that they would put a notation on the plan that the property line follows <br /> the center line of William Mingo Road. Mr. I,udala stated that the lot area should <br /> state 40,000 square feet. It should be taken into consideration that they could <br /> have a 5— or 6—way intersection. there was a discussion on open space requirements <br /> and the building of the barn. The hearing was continued to the next meeting, <br /> October 2, 1985, in order to get opinions from Mr. Reardon. Mr. Jonas stated that <br /> Mr. Dubin would send a copy of Mr. Reardon' s letter to Mr. Gilmore. Mr. Gilmore <br /> stated that the property has now been conveyed to Lovell Realty Trust. The name <br /> will be changed on the plan. <br /> Public Hearing: South Mashpee Highlands Trust <br /> Between Mashpee Neck and Simons Narrows Road <br /> Definitive Plan of 94—lot subdivision <br /> For the purpose of this hearing, Mr. Jonas abstained. Mr. Theodore Shilling <br /> represented South Mashpee Highlands Trust. Mr. Nye stated that he and Mr. <br /> Rowley would meet and straighten out Mr. Rowley' s comments regarding basins <br />
