The overall concept goes beyond the pro- posal -to change the zoning, . This land at this location is presently owned by -the -town- as a library site This parcel of land of I .K3 acres will be deeded backs r,,'Ie will request -town meeting to deed this back to -Pields Point, Corporation in exchange for the town receiving a. 1 . 9'7 parcel- of laj.,id on the other side of iRte . 151 for the proposed library® Additionally, Fields Point would then deed 'back a h acre parcel in front of -the police station and fire stations . You may recall -there has been concern expressed , especially this road , the present access road into the complex is not owned by the town. We do not have an easement . Vle have only a right of way. 1-1-'here 's also been concern about what could 'be built in front'! of the fire station - commercial land in private ownership® So this 4 acre parcel would be deeded to the -town. Additionally as part of this concept -the Fields Point Corporation would develop a so-called coi-inion, would retain the ownership of this parcel- and retain the ilia int enanc e responsibilities . Not as part of the town meeting action but the Corp- oration would deed to the pJashpee Housing Authority a parcel of land 'of at least 3 acres for the site of 24 units of housing for the elderly. The church here' is part of the proposal but, isn 't something -that was negotiated by -the Board of Selectmen. in addt!-on to -that, the roadway into the police and -fire complex would be reconstructed at a cost to be borne by the Fields Point Corporation© As well as a road to be con-- structed from Rte . 1�1 to IRt.e . 28 .
