MA 02649 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> Pursuant to Chapter 40A of Massachusetts General Law, the <br /> Mashpee Planning Board will conduct a public hearing at 8:25 PP,q <br /> on Wednesday, May 1, 1985 , at Town Hall, Central Road, Mashpee <br /> on a proposed amendment to Section 7 of the Zoning By-Laws by <br /> amending the footnote to the "LAND SPACE REQUIREMENTS TABLE" <br /> (which is indicated by an asterisk) appearing in Subsection 7 .4 <br /> beneath the "LAND SPACE REQUIREMENTS TABLE" to read as follows : <br /> "-',Exept for provision of one access driveway involving <br /> clearance of a path no more than 401 in width, the first <br /> one-half, or 100 ' in industrial districts , of the front <br /> setback area shall be left wooded, it shall be suitably <br /> landscaped with a sufficient number of trees of a type common <br /> in Mashpee , such as pine or oak, to constitute a visual <br /> barrier between the proposed development and the roadway. <br /> Under no circumstances will parking, retention ponds , or <br /> any other development involving clearance of natural <br /> vegetation be permit-Led within said area . " <br /> and to add an asterisk (-i- ) to the front setback distance indi- <br /> cated for the C-1, C-2 , C-1-SV, and C-1-0 districts , or -take <br /> any other action thereon. <br /> Submitted by, <br /> Richard S .
