Ow* n of Mashpee <br /> la'lashr.)ee,-Af-IssachuseM flL645�` <br /> Minutes of Meeting.of <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, February 4, 2020 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall-Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Committee Members Present: Charlie Maintanis, Jonathan Furbush, <br /> Joe Callahan, and Miles Peters.Also present was Evan Lehrer, Town Planner. <br /> Charlie called the meeting to order at 8:35 AM, <br /> CONTINUED <br /> 8:30 am Proiect Address: 89 Industrial Drive <br /> Business Name: 11 Industrial Drive, LLC <br /> Agent: Cape& Islands Engineering <br /> Request: Proposed 9,680 sq. ft. commercial building with five (5) <br /> contractor bays and office space. Proposed signage on building. <br /> Raul, with Cape and Islands represented the proposed industrial building. The meeting <br /> was continued from January 21, 2020 because there were some items that needed to be <br /> addressed. The first item was the actual color of the building. The color scheme provided <br /> was supplemental to the original application, The proposed building is a grey color metal <br /> roof; the main building will be a clay color. The applicant would like the wainscot band <br /> material and the trim to be a charcoal color.The wainscot band siding material on this type <br /> of metal building is easily maintained if it gets damaged,The second item to address is the <br /> lighting specs that were submitted with the original package. There will be wall pack type <br /> lighting on the four corners of the building shedding toward the parking area only.The third <br /> item on the list was a proposed drive-through on one of the garage bays. The parking <br /> spaces will be shifted toward the rear leaving.two spaces along the left side of the building <br /> allowing for easy vehicle turning movements. The fourth item discussed was the building <br /> awnings. Raul provided a generic rendering of the awnings that will be attached over the <br /> side door, and the window over the office section as well as over the four front windows• <br /> facing the street.These items were recommended under the Cape Cod Commission(CCC) <br /> guidelines. <br /> Miles asked for the elevation plans.Charlie asked for the colors and elevations of the actual <br /> proposed building. Raul said he didn't have the time to get back to the architect but the <br /> elevation plans were submitted with the original application. <br /> Jonathan wants the proposed building showing all the information on one sheet depicting <br /> the colors, the side doors, the awnings, etc. Raul said he will ask the developer to provide <br /> that. <br /> Charlie asked Raul if he consulted with the Town Planner. He also asked if there will be <br /> cupolas on the building.. Raul said no. Evan said he spoke to the owner about developing <br /> the lot. <br /> Jonathan wanted to know what type of buildings were on the other lots in the industrial park <br /> and if they had cupolas, <br /> 1 <br />
