All towns are required to <br /> maintain a revaluation account for costs relating to valuation consultants, Appellate Tax Beard <br /> expenses, private appraisals, defense of values and various other requirements to ensure <br /> accurate,assess mients and timely issuance of tax bills. <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of' $15 ,00 from revenue <br /> available for appiropriation to the Board of Health Nuisance, emediation expense account. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Health <br /> Explanation: On October 15, 20191, the Board of Health issued an Order pursuant to the Board of <br /> Health Nuisance Regulation Part V111 Section 5.00, ands G.L. c. 111, §123 that Cabral Container <br /> commence abatement of the nuisance violation of the accumulated refuse located at 81 Echo <br /> Road, Mashpee, MA within thirty (30) days from the date of said notice was received.' No action <br /> comply, ingwith the Board's,Order has been undertaken to date. Pursuant to the provisions of G.L. <br /> c. 111, §125, which authorizes local boards of health to "cause [,a] nuisance,source,of filth or cause <br /> of sickness,to be removed" upon the property owner's failure to comply with, an order that he or <br /> she do so, the Board proposes to proceed with the demolition/ removal of the nuisance as the <br /> most reasonable and expeditious course of action to abate the nuisance conditions caused by this <br /> substantially abused and neglected property. All costs and expenses incurred by the Town in this <br /> regard shall constitute a debit owed to the Town upon the rendering of an account therefor, and <br /> shall be recoverable in an action of contract or by real property lien proceedings pursuant to <br /> M.G.L. c. 139. §3A.This action was deemed necessary by the Board due to the nuisance conditions <br /> and persistent refusal to address the same within the timeframies previously ordered. <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $200,000 from revenue <br /> available for appiropriation to the Human, Resouurces Accrued Benefit Account, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by,the Department of Human Resources <br /> Explanat'l'on:This article is necessary to replenish the Human Resources Accrued Benefits Account. <br />
