13 Board of Selectmen Minutes August 24, 2020 Discussion and Possible Action on Draft#3 of the October 19, 2020 Town Meeting Warrant: (continued) Article 911 To authorize the acquisition of a portion of the properties, temporarily or permanently for the completion of the Route 151 Corridor Improvement Project; approximately 900' west of the Old Barnstable Road intersection to the Mashpee Rotary. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to include and support Article#11 for placement on the October Town Meeting Warrant. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none Article #12 Route 151 Sewer Project Design—To fund the design of a wastewater and stormwater collection system and other required facilities for the Route 151 corridor. The project appropriation will require debt authorization, contingent upon the passage of a Proposition 2 '/z debt exclusion question, and would run concurrently with the Route 151 Corridor Improvement Project. HELD for monetary amount. Discussion of Adding the Following Article: Fiscal Year 2020 Unpaid Bill: $80 Michael Finlayson: Human Resources Director Kim Landry: Correspondence was received from Kimberly A. Landry, Human Resources Director dated August 6, 2020 requesting the Board approve an additional article to fund a Tuition Reimbursement request for a DPW foreman. The training was conducted in June of the prior fiscal year, but the payment request was not received for processing until August 5, 2020. The amount of reimbursement is $80. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to include and support an Article to pay a 2020 unpaid bill as submitted by the Human Resources Director for placement on the October Town Meeting Warrant. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
