It was agreed the Board would allow the sale of wine and malt beverages annually at <br /> the Little Shop of Olive Oils as an accessory. <br /> Mr. Morrison affirmed the goal of this application is to not open a package store,but to maintain the store <br /> as it has been characterized. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve the application of Little Shop of Olive Oils for a new <br /> Annual Wine and Malt Beverage Package Store License conditioned as a secondary and accessory <br /> use to the Little Shop of Olive Oils store. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Public Hearing: Application for a New Seasonal All Alcoholic Beverages Retail Package Store License for <br /> Morrison Marketplace d/b/a Poppy Market: <br /> The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the application of Morrison Marketplace LLC d/b/a <br /> the Poppy Market, for a New Seasonal Retail Package Store All Alcoholic Beverages License. The <br /> establishment is located at 259 Shore Drive, Unit 1, Mashpee with premises described as 2,259 square feet, <br /> one floor, two entrances/exits. <br /> The Hearing notice as read aloud into the record. Michael Morrison was in attendance remotely to review <br /> the application with the Board of Selectmen. Morrison Marketplace will be taking over ownership of the <br /> licensed premises known as The Country Store. All necessary paperwork was in order for the Selectmen's <br /> approval. <br /> This is a basic grocery store with a sandwich/deli area with the convenience of wine, malt and liquor sales. <br /> There are no changes planned within the current layout. However,the applicant is creating space for liquor <br /> sales. The applicant is requesting a seasonal full alcoholic beverages license. <br /> Being no comment, the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
