*DRAFT 3 MAY 2020 TOWN MEETING- WARRANT** Page.1 Town of Mashpee Mashpee High School 500 old Barnstable Road Mashpee, MA 02649 Special Town Meeting Monday, May 4, 2020 Barnstable, ss: Greetings to the Constables of the Town, In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee High School on Monday, the 4th day of May 2020 at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes: To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant: Article 1 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer a sum of money from revenue available for appropriation to the Snow & Ice Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted bythe Department of Public Works Explanation: This article is necessary to fund a deficit in the Snow & Ice Account. The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of HOLD The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of HOLD Article 2 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $1,043.50 from revenue available for appropriation to pay the previous fiscal year's unpaid bills as follows: Motorola Solutions, Inc, $1,043-50 or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Fire Department Explanation: This article is necessary to pay bills received after the end of a previous fiscal year. The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 2 by a vote of 5-0 The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 2 by a vote of 6-0 Article 3 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $1,439,534 from revenue available for appropriation, to be deposited into the Capital Stabilization Fund, or take any other action relating thereto..
