Article T <br /> To see if the Town will vote to approve the regional school district debt assessment for the Cape Cod <br /> Regional Technical High School District Building Project for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020, in the <br /> amount of $6,260,701,�and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sure of <br /> $487,847 to meet its share of the cast of debt for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District <br /> Building Project for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020, or tape any other action relating thereto, <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: Mashpee's share ofthe Cape Cod Regional Technical High School debt for the Cape Cod <br /> Regional Technical High School Building Project for Fiscal Year 2021 is $487,847., <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of TWO <br /> FINCOM: This article authorizes the raising and appropriating of$487,847.00, the Town of Mashpee's share <br /> in the cost of debt for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High Schoolfor the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 5 by a vote of S-1 <br /> Article 6 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue available for <br /> appropriation to the Other Postemployment Benefits Irrevocable Trust Fund, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation:. This article will add funds to the OPEB Irrevocable Trust Fund which was established in FY <br /> 2013 to assist the Town with 'meeting its potential past-employment benefits obligation. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article f by a vote of 5-0 <br /> TINCOM• This article is to appropriate and transfer$250,000 from revenue available for appropriation to <br /> OPEB, Other Postemployment Benefits Irrevocable Trust Fund. This fund was established to in FY2013 to <br /> meet costs related to potential past-employment benefits. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article f by a vote of 6-0 <br /> Article T <br /> To see if the town will appropriate the sum of $2,480,000 by borrowing for the planning and design of <br /> wastewater collection, treatment and disposal initiatives in the Town of Mashpee, including all expenses <br /> incidental and related thereto, to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, to <br /> issue any bonds or notes that may be necessary for that purpose, and to apply the premium received by <br /> the Town upon the sale of any bonds or notes thereunder, less any such premium p <br /> applied to the payment <br /> p <br /> of the costs of issuance of such bond or notes, to pay project costs and reduce the amount authorized to <br /> be borrowed by the amount of the premium so applied; provided, however, that this appropriation and <br /> debt authorization shall be contingent upon passage of a Proposition-2% debt exclusion ballot question <br /> under General Laws Chapter 59, § 21C(k), or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would provide funding to complete the'design of Phase 1 of the wastewater <br /> treatment plant to be located adjacent to the Town's solid waste transfer station and further to design the <br /> phase 1 sewer collection system to be connected to the wastewater treatment facility adjacent to the <br /> Town's transfer station. This project is one of the initial steps in implementing the Town's watershed <br /> Nitrogen Management Plan/CLAMP. <br /> 23 <br />
