To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- <br />propriate a sum of money for the support of school and State <br />Aided Vocational Education or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Article accepted as read. <br />Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to take from <br />available funds, the sum of $312.00 for the installation of <br />thirteen (13) new street lights; one (1) to be installed on <br />Route 130, two (2) to be installed at John's Pond Develop- <br />ment, ten (10) to be installed at Popponessett, or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: Amended to read; one (1) at the intersection of <br />Red Brook Road and Monomoscoy Road and nine (9) at Pop- <br />ponesset. Voted 55 for, 5 opposed. <br />Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- <br />propriate the sum of $509.34 for unpaid bills or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Article accepted as read. Voted 52 for, 0 opposed. <br />Article 14. To see if the Town will authorize and instruct <br />the Selectmen to convey to Play -Ball Sales, Inc., a corporation <br />owning land in the Town of Mashpee, that portion of the 1959 <br />Town Taking by eminent domain of Mashpee Neck Road lying <br />southerly of a concrete bound on the easterly side of Mashpee <br />Neck Road, at the southeasterly corner of Parcel 6, formerly <br />owned by Pemberton Whitcomb, shown on Sheet 6 of the plan <br />recorded in Barnstable County Registry of Deeds in plan Book <br />149, pages 29 through 35, in connection with the notice of <br />taking dated June 30, 1959, recorded in said Registry in Book <br />1045, page 195; provided, that said corporation first releases <br />the Town of Mashpee from all liability arising from said tak- <br />ing by eminent domain as aforesaid, and provided further <br />that said corporation conveys to the Town the land described <br />as follows: That portion of Bay Shore Drive together with <br />other land of said corporation bounded on the west by other <br />land of said grantor, on the south and southwest by lot 14, <br />on the east by lots 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, on the north <br />by lots 15 and 16, and on the southeast by land formerly of <br />Wallie F. Harlow and Santuit River, all as shown on a plan <br />
