122 <br />possible would be Federal aid for Federally -impacted areas, <br />since there are sufficient students of military personnel in <br />the eight communities which are near Otis AFB for reim- <br />bursement under Public Law 815 for construction costs. <br />On the undergraduate level, the State has suggested a <br />maximum of 40 pupils in 5 -year courses in carpentry, ma- <br />chine shop practices and precision sheet metal. As a matter <br />of safety, a maximum enrollment of 30 pupils has been sug- <br />gested because of the safety factor involving machinery which <br />is dangerous to operate without close supervision. The State <br />allows a maximum of two teachers for the maximum en- <br />rollment. The curriculum will include some of the follow- <br />ing courses for the undergraduate program as well as others: <br />Auto Body, Auto and Marine Engine Mechanics (B) <br />Electricity -Electronics (B) (G) Food Trades (B) (G) <br />Plumbing and Heating (B) Carpentry (B) <br />Machine Drafting (B) (G) Beauty Culture (G) (B) <br />Painting & Decorating (B) (G) <br />Post Graduate <br />Business Practices (G) (B) Practical Nursing (G) (B) <br />Medical Assistant (G) (B) <br />Action has been initiated to receive as a gift a site along <br />the Cape Cod Canal from the Government.
