84 <br />mouth of Waquoit Bay. Thence Easterly along the shore of <br />Vineyard Sound.to point of beginning. <br />Said property to be used as a Town public beach and will <br />raise and appropriate the sum of $1.00 for such purpose or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted 8 for, 52 opposed. <br />Article 65. To see if the Town will authorize and in- <br />struct the Board of Selectmen to purchase or take by eminent <br />domain for public recreation purposes the following parcels <br />of land, and will raise and appropriate the sum of one dollar <br />for such purpose. <br />Parcel 1. <br />Northerly by the Falmouth Town line about 215 <br />feet; <br />Easterly by Seconsett Island Road about 408 feet; <br />Southerly by land of the Town of Mashpee about 15 <br />feet; and <br />Westerly by the waters of Waquoit Bay and Town <br />of Falmouth. <br />Parcel 2. <br />Northerly by Falmouth town line about 12 feet; East- <br />erly by the waters of Seconsett channel; Southeast- <br />erly by T. Price. Wilson et al about 255 feet; and <br />Westerly by Seconsett Island Road about 650, feet. <br />Said parcels being shown on plan entitled "Proposed Taking <br />by the Town of Mashpee, Mass., for Beach and Parking Pur- <br />poses July, 1962," a copy of which is filed with the Town <br />Clerk. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted 23 for, one opposed. <br />Article 66. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or take from available funds in the Treasury <br />the sum of. $500.00 to be used as an expense account by the <br />Anniversary Committee, to celebrate the Town's 200th Anni- <br />versary as a District on some suitable date in 1963, in accord- <br />
