71 <br />Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $2,500.00 to be expended for the pur- <br />chase of a new police cruiser; the present cruiser to be <br />traded in and equipment to be transferred from the present <br />cruiser, or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise or <br />appropriate a sum of $650.00 as salaries of the Board of <br />Health, each member receiving $200.00 and the Inspecting <br />Agent receiving an additional $50.00 or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article and <br />to raise and appropriate. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to raise or <br />appropriate $1,250.00 as the first payment of two payments <br />for equipment to re-establish an efficient dental clinic at <br />the Samuel G. Davis School, or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. <br />Mr. Frank E. Hicks was given permission to read a resolu- <br />tion commending Mrs. Emma O. Mills, retired Tax Collector <br />and Treasurer for 30 years of service and Mrs. Amanda S. <br />Hicks, School Committee Member for 28 years service, and <br />Elwood O. Mills, 4 years Selectman, 3 years as Town Clerk. <br />Appreciation was expressed for work well done. <br />A motion was made and seconded that the resolution be <br />accepted and adopted into this Town meeting records. Voted <br />unanimously. <br />Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate the sum of $125.00 for a small office desk and <br />chair for the Planning Board, or take any other action there- <br />on. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. <br />
