72 <br />Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or appropriate from available funds in the <br />Treasury the sum of $3,000.00 to enlarge and blacktop the <br />parking area at Attaquin Park, or take any action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to <br />read; To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of $3,000.00 to enlarge and blacktop the parking area <br />at Attaquin Park or take any other action thereon. Voted <br />unanimously. Article accepted as amended. <br />Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />provisions of section sixteen to sixteen I, inclusive, of <br />chapter seventy-one of the General Laws, providing for the <br />establishment of a regional school district together with the <br />towns of Bourne, Falmouth, Marion, Mashpee, Mattapoisett, <br />Rochester, Sandwich and Wareham, and the construction, <br />maintenance and operation of a regional school by the said <br />district in accordance with the provisions of a proposed <br />agreement filed with the Selectmen. <br />Action: No direct action on the article. The Vocational <br />District Planning Committee gave a detailed report and it <br />was voted unanimously to accept the report as given. <br />Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or appropriate from available funds in the <br />Treasury the sum of $200.00 for the support of School and <br />State Aided Vocational Education or take any action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to <br />read; To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of $200.00 for the support of School and State Aided <br />Vocational Education or take any other action thereon. Voted <br />unanimously. <br />Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br />appropriate or take from available funds in the Treasury <br />the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) to defray the <br />expense of a qualified physical education instructor from <br />2:30 to 5:30 p.m. daily six days per week at the Town Hall <br />gymnasium, or take any other action thereon. <br />
