72 Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or appropriate from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $3,000.00 to enlarge and blacktop the parking area at Attaquin Park, or take any action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to read; To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $3,000.00 to enlarge and blacktop the parking area at Attaquin Park or take any other action thereon. Voted unanimously. Article accepted as amended. Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of section sixteen to sixteen I, inclusive, of chapter seventy-one of the General Laws, providing for the establishment of a regional school district together with the towns of Bourne, Falmouth, Marion, Mashpee, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Sandwich and Wareham, and the construction, maintenance and operation of a regional school by the said district in accordance with the provisions of a proposed agreement filed with the Selectmen. Action: No direct action on the article. The Vocational District Planning Committee gave a detailed report and it was voted unanimously to accept the report as given. Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or appropriate from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $200.00 for the support of School and State Aided Vocational Education or take any action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to read; To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $200.00 for the support of School and State Aided Vocational Education or take any other action thereon. Voted unanimously. Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds in the Treasury the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) to defray the expense of a qualified physical education instructor from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. daily six days per week at the Town Hall gymnasium, or take any other action thereon.
