74 <br />Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to change the <br />name of Seconsett Landing to "SECONSETT ISLAND <br />BEACH," or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 34. To see if the Town will grant an easement <br />to widen the brook (or creek) across Town owned marsh <br />listed as Schneider property in plan book 172, pg. 59, to 40, <br />width,.from former Carleton property to Ockway Bay, or take <br />any other action thereon; in consideration for which an <br />easement over road to be created along northerly edge of <br />Carleton property from Great Neck Road to the Schneider <br />parcel will be granted to the town. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to table article in- <br />definitely. Voted 50 for, 17 opposed. <br />Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise or <br />appropriate the sum of $100.00 for the restoration and main- <br />tenance of old cemeteries, as per Chapter 114, Sections 16 to <br />18 of the General Laws or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to amend article to <br />read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br />the sum of $100.00 for the restoration and maintenance of <br />old cemeteries, as per Chapter 114, Section 16 to 18 of the <br />General Laws or take any other action thereon. Voted <br />unanimously. <br />Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to have the <br />Selectmen investigate as to the steps to be taken to have a <br />Christmas tree display installed annually during the Christ- <br />mas season at the Mashpee Rotary Circle on Rte. 28, or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to accept a gift <br />of a parcel of beach land for public recreation purposes from <br />Fields Point Manufacturing Corporation, of approximately <br />20.51 acres on Nantucket Sound, said Fields Point Manufac- <br />
