To see if the Town will vote to rescind the vote taken on Article 29 of the 1963 Annual Town Meeting Warrant, whereby a parcel of approximately 31 acres of beach land was taken by eminent domain for public recrea- tion purposes, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 39. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chap- ter 478 of the Acts of 1963, Sections 1 to 6, inclusive (an act increasing the amounts of pensions and retirement allow- ances payable to certain former public employees) or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Voted unanimously. Article 40. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town By -Laws by adding to Chapter III of the following: Article IV, to read as follows: "The Board of Selectmen, an- nually in March, shall appoint an Inspector of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances under the provisions of Chapter 737, Section 2, Acts of 1960 and Section 3-0, Chapter 143, Gen- eral Laws, to hold office from the first day of April follow- ing and until his successor is appointed and qualified. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chap- ter III, Article 2, of the Town Zoning By -Laws, by amending the map entitled "Zoning Map, Town of Mashpee, Mashpee, Mass.' dated November 3, 1959, and filed with the Town
