106 <br />Report of the School Building Needs Committee <br />To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and <br />Citizens of the Town of Mashpee <br />Presently, the Mashpee School Building Needs Committee <br />is as follows: <br />1. Chairman Vernon Thomas <br />2. Vice -Chairman Joseph Peters <br />3. Treasurer Andre LaBute <br />4. Secretary Mrs. Dagny M. Miller <br />5. Members Leo Houston, Gerard LaBute <br />Leo Sweeney (Ex -officio) <br />6. Advisers Clayton E. Campbell, Superintendent <br />Kenneth Coombs, Principal <br />The Mashpee school situation is no different from that <br />of a year ago. The School Building Needs Committee is <br />pleased with the fine education the seventh and eighth grade <br />pupils are receiving in the Barnstable Junior High School, <br />This is an ideal arrangement for Mashpee and it is hoped <br />that it will continue until such time as it becomes necessary <br />to build more classrooms. <br />The Superintendent of Schools is watching the "Federal <br />Impact" very closely and any noticeable change will be re- <br />ported to the Committee. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />VERNON THOMAS, Chairman <br />JOSEPH A.
