To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- <br />propriate, or take from available funis in the Treasury, <br />$250.00 to install and maintain two (2) flood lights at the <br />Mill Pond or take any other action thereon. Cape & Vineyard <br />Electric Company Pole #M242. (Submitted by Park Dept.) <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- <br />priate $250.00 to install and maintain two flood lights at the <br />Mill Pond. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to combine the <br />Park and Recreation Committees consisting of five (5) mem- <br />bers — one to serve one year, two to serve two years, and two <br />to serve three years; all subsequent annual elections for a <br />term of three years. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to combine the park <br />and recreation Committees consisting of Five (5) members — <br />one to serve one year, two to serve two years, and two to serve <br />three years; all subsequent annual elections for a term of <br />three years; this to take effect at the next Annual Town <br />Election of 1966. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to employ one <br />full-time man on the Highway Department and fix his salary <br />at $4,500.00; and to raise and appropriate the sum of $4,500.00 <br />or take any other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town <br />will vote to employ one full-time man on the Highway de- <br />partment and fix his salary at $4,500.00 per year; and to <br />raise and appropriate the sum of $3,750.00 or take any other <br />action thereon. Voted unanimously. <br />Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chap- <br />ter 2, Section 1, of Article VI of the 1960 Town By -Laws and <br />substitute therefor the following: <br />"The Finance Comittee shall consist of seven(7) <br />voters of the Town of whom two (2) shall be <br />elected for one year; two (2) for two years, and <br />three (3) for three years. All subsequent annual <br />elections shall be for a term of three years." <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. Voted unanimously. Voted 38 for, none opposed. <br />
