88 To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds $1,500.00 for one qualified life guard and equipment for Atta- quin Park, or take any action thereon. Action: It was moved and seconded that $1,500.00 be taken from available funds for one qualified lifeguard and equipment for Attaquin Park. A voice vote. Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to close the gravel end portion of Lake Avenue �! that crosses Attaquin Park Beach, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be j tabled. Motion made by majority voice vote. Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds the sum of $400.00 to remove the gravel at the end of Lake Avenue and replace with beach sand or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made that article be tabled indefinitely. i' Mbtion was carried by majority voice vote. Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $895.00 to build a lawn, as per specifica- tions, on the new library grounds, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that $895.00 be raised and appropriated. Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $310.00 to furnish and plant shrubs, as per specifications, on the new library grounds, or take any action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that the amount of $310.00 be raised and appropriated. A unani- mous vote. Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to sell the 1939 GMC tank truck now in the custody of the Fire Department, or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be ac- cepted as read. A unanimous vote.
