94 <br />WARRANT <br />SPECIAL TOWN MEETING — TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />BARNSTABLE, ss.: <br />Town of Mashpee <br />To the Constable of the <br />GREETINGS; <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusets, you <br />are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants <br />of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the <br />elections, to meet at the Town Hall on Monday, September 26, <br />1966, at 7 P.M. for the following purposes: <br />Moderator William W. Mills called the meeting to order <br />at 7:15 P.M. The Tellers, Mrs. Barbara Peters and Miss <br />Eleanor M. Peters, counted 57 voters present which consti- <br />tutes a quorum. <br />A prayer was delivered by Reverend John Shade Frank- <br />lin. <br />Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate <br />from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $3,500.00 for <br />Police Compensation. This amount includes funds for part <br />time officers for days off and vacations, or take any other <br />action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that the Town ap- <br />propriate the sum of $3,500.00. A unanimous <br />vote. <br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />the Treasurer's receipts the sum of $1,145.00, representing <br />the amount received from collision insurance on the 1963 <br />cruiser. This amount to be used in conjunction with the funds <br />already voted at the 1966 Annual Town Meeting to purchase <br />and equip a new Police Cruiser, or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as <br />read. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from <br />available funds the sum of $10.62 to pay a delayed billing to <br />
