To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Section 4-A of Chapter 41 ,which provides for the Board of Selectmen to appoint one of its own members to act as Gas Inspector until his successor is qualified. Said appointment is subject to the appropriation as set by the Annual Town Meeting of March 7, 1966. Action: Motion made and seconded that article be ac- cepted as read. A unanimous vote. Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Park and Recreation Commission, and the Cemetery Com- mission, to employ one or more members of each such com- mission at an hourly wage of $1.75, as authorized by Section 4-A, Chapter 41, of the General Laws, of Massachusetts. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. A unanimous vote. Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to have the Mod- erator appoint a Board of Registrars, other than the Board of Selectmen, consisting of three members, each from a dif- ferent section of the Town, to work in conjunction with the Town Clerk, or take any other action thereon. Article 6. Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to have the Selectmen ap- point a Board of Registrars consisting of 4 members, one of Which shall be the Town Clerk under the provision of Chap- ter 31, Section 15, of the General Laws.
