Workmen's Compensation checks sent to em-
ployees must be turned over to the Department Head for
proper accounting to the Town Treasurer. The employee is
to be compensated so as to insure no loss in salary. Similar-
ly, the insurance checks for the Protective Services employees
' must be turned over to the Department Head for proper ac-
counting to the Town Treasurer for payroll adjustment.
Workmen's Compensation and insurance for the Protective
A Service personnel are provided to insure that the employee
is compensated up to the regular salary schedule.
It is intended that, by these programs and by the sup-
plemental payments to be made by the Town of the differ-
ence between the applicable coverage and the appropriate
salary schedule, the employee shall receive amounts which
all taken together shall equal, but not exceed, the salary
regularly paid for his ordinary work period in the Town's
service.
AMENDMENT OF PLAN
The Salary Administration Plan may be amended; pro- '
vided, however, that no amendment to the Plan shall be
made until the regular Town Meeting of March, 1970.
S
Pc
i
h
