Completed the Civil Defense Warning System at <br /> John's Pond. <br /> 2. The Director was instrumental in procuring surplus <br /> properties for the Police, Fire and Highway depart- <br /> ments. <br /> 3. <br /> Activated <br /> Federali <br /> C vil Defense Shelters at Samuel <br /> Davis School and thei <br /> W wam <br /> g <br /> 4. Activated shelters for use in Hurricane Gerda Sep- <br /> tember 9, 1969. <br /> 5.
