62 <br /> Report of the Library Trustees <br /> To the Honorable Board of Selectmen and <br /> the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee <br /> We wish to take this opportunity to thank all who have <br /> contributed so generously, books, money, paintings, and most <br /> precious of all, your time that you have shared with the <br /> j Library. <br /> It has given the Trustees great pleasure in sharing the <br /> building with the School Department for their Kindergarten. <br /> Another activity for this <br /> past year is the Story Hour <br /> which is held Saturday mornings. This program is sponsored <br /> by the Mashpee P.T.A. <br /> Mrs. Helen Edwards was appointed assistant to our Li- <br /> brarian Mrs. Adeline B. Hicks. Elmer W. Hendricks, Jr. has <br /> been appointed to perform the janitorial services upon the <br /> resignation of Mr. Wilbur Oakley. The Trustees appreciated <br /> Mr. Oakley serving the Library with such great dedication. <br /> We have tried to add a few improvements to the Library <br /> by installing a flag pole, a winter and summer schedule sign, <br /> completing the Parking area, and installation of window <br /> shades throughout the building. <br /> We would suggest that people visit your Library at any <br /> time and share your thoughts and wishes with the Librarian. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> SELENA F.
