70 <br /> Report of the Personnel Board <br /> To the Honorable Board of Selectmen <br /> and Voters of the Town of Mashpee <br /> At the March 3, 1969 Town Meeting, it was unanimously <br /> voted (Article 26 of the Warrant) to "instruct the Board of <br /> Selectmen to appoint a permanent Personnel Board under <br /> the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter <br /> 41, Section 108C, as may be from time to time amended, con- <br /> sisting of five (5) registered voters, who are not otherwise <br /> employees of the Town, or serving the Town regularly in any <br /> elective capacity; their first terms of office to be one for <br /> one year; two for two years; and two for three years, and <br /> thereafter succeeding appointments to be for three year <br /> terms." <br /> In accordance with these instructions, the Board of <br /> Selectmen has appointed the following five (5) voters as the <br /> initial members of the Personnel Board: Henry J. Bode, <br /> Frank L. Home er Howard oward Rohdm, Nicholas T. Samaras, and <br /> Donald M. Smith. <br /> After many deliberations, consultations, and consider- <br /> ations of other salary plans in the Commonwealth, and more <br /> j particularly in Cape Cod, the Personnel Board has developed <br /> I <br /> a Salary Administration Plan. The plan has been given wide <br /> spread publicity and it has the endorsement of the Select- <br /> men the Finance <br /> Committee .all of the Department heads <br /> as well as most of the Town employees. It has been sub- <br /> mitted to the Town of Mashpee with the recommendation <br /> that it be adopted as a By-Law. <br /> Copies of the Plan may be obtained from any member of <br /> the Board. <br /> The Personnel Board <br /> HENRY J.
