Neither
the categories nor the figures coincide with those of the
Mashpee Police Department because this chart represents an
attempt to give an indication of those cases reaching the
trial stage in the First District Court rather than the number
of arrests made, or complaints filed. For the records of the
office of the Prosecutor, the cases were listed by case.report
rather than by number of defendants, so a case involving
multiple defendants usually is listed as one case because it
was presented as such.
