81 <br /> We therefore request the Planning Board to recommend <br /> changes in the bylaws and other regulations'that may exist <br /> so that future land uses are controlled in such a way as to <br /> achieve these policies, and also we urge the Planning Board <br /> to give priority consideration to: <br /> 1. Restricting the expansion of resort accommodations, <br /> except in selected areas; <br /> 2. Stop "strip" zoning; <br /> 3. Provide for density zoning; <br /> and also to implement these policies, we request the Select- <br /> men to notify the Commissioners of Barnstable County that <br /> we believe it to be in the best interests of our Town to attract <br /> "second" and "retirement" home owners and therefore re- <br /> quest them to appropriate $25,000 annually in matching funds <br /> to be used for this purpose by an agency to be designated by <br /> them. <br /> Adopted this 1st day of March, 1971. <br /> Submitted by Cape Cod Planning and Economic Develop- <br /> ment Commission. <br /> Action made and seconded that article be amended to <br /> read: Adopted this 2nd day of March, 1971. Motion made <br /> and seconded that article be accepted as amended. A unani- <br /> mous vote. <br /> Article 36. To see if the Town will authorize the Select- <br /> men to contract with the Cape & Vineyard Electric Company <br /> to install and maintain the following street lights (standard <br /> lumens): <br /> 1 light Route 151 & Old Falmouth Rd.
