v� <br /> i <br /> OF <br /> i'. <br /> 92 <br /> a ' <br /> Warrant for Special Town Meeting <br /> July 12, 1972 <br /> The Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br /> BARNSTABLE, SS: <br /> To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee GREETINGS: <br /> ` i In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are <br /> hereby directed to notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town <br /> Of 1VTashpee, who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at <br /> the Town Hall on Wednesday, the 12th day of July, 1972, at 7:30 <br /> o'clock p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> The meeting was called to order at seven forty-five with a <br /> quorum of ninety-six voters present. <br /> Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br /> priate the sum of $3,090.00 to install baseball field irrigation for <br /> the new field. <br /> Action: Motion duly made and seconded that article be in <br /> definitely postponed. A unanimous vote. <br /> Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br /> priate the sum of $300.00 to replace the Indian sign at Attaquin <br /> Park that was destroyed by vandalism. <br /> Action: Motion duly made and seconded to raise and appro- <br /> priate the sum of $300.00. A unanimous vote. <br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the <br /> !, Road Machinery Fund the sum of $7,500.00 to be placed in a <br /> Grader Lease-Purchase Account. <br /> Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to <br /> transfer the sum of $6,000.00 to a Grader Purchase Account from <br /> the Road Machinery Account. The $6,000.00 to be used as a down <br /> payment on the purchase of a new grader with the Town Treasurer <br /> to seek adequate bank financing for the balance and in accordance <br /> with any applicable General Laws. <br /> Motion duly made and seconded to accept article as amended. <br /> A unanimous vote. <br />
