v� i OF i'. 92 a ' Warrant for Special Town Meeting July 12, 1972 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee GREETINGS: ` i In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town Of 1VTashpee, who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the Town Hall on Wednesday, the 12th day of July, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. for the following purposes: The meeting was called to order at seven forty-five with a quorum of ninety-six voters present. Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of $3,090.00 to install baseball field irrigation for the new field. Action: Motion duly made and seconded that article be in definitely postponed. A unanimous vote. Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of $300.00 to replace the Indian sign at Attaquin Park that was destroyed by vandalism. Action: Motion duly made and seconded to raise and appro- priate the sum of $300.00. A unanimous vote. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the !, Road Machinery Fund the sum of $7,500.00 to be placed in a Grader Lease-Purchase Account. Action: Amended to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $6,000.00 to a Grader Purchase Account from the Road Machinery Account. The $6,000.00 to be used as a down payment on the purchase of a new grader with the Town Treasurer to seek adequate bank financing for the balance and in accordance with any applicable General Laws. Motion duly made and seconded to accept article as amended. A unanimous vote.
