Civil preparedness in action is the co- <br /> ordinated response of town departments working together <br /> in an extraordinary emergency. <br /> During 1973 the Communications unit participated in <br /> monthly drills within the sector unit. <br /> A class of 15 was taught by David Consalvi .and William <br /> Mills on First Aid Medical Self-Help and Advanced First Aid. <br /> The surplus property program netted the police, fire, <br /> highway and historic commission $16,000 to $17,000 in equip- <br /> ment for only $480.00. <br /> A new face has joined the volunteer staff.
