85 TOWN OF.MASHPEIE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING JANUARY 31, 1973 THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS BARNSTABLE, SS: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in the elections, to meet at Town Hall on Wednesday, January 31, 1973 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. to act on the articles contained in the following warrant. Tellers were Helen Edwards and Eleanor Peters. A quorum present, Moderator William W. Mills, called the meeting to order at 7:40 o'clock. Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate or take from Overlay Surplus the sum of $1.00 to purchase a building to be used at the Town Dump Area. Action: Unanimously vote to take from Overlay Sur- plus. Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to amend the ex- fisting`zoning by-laws by adding the following to Section 10: SIGN . . . thereof the following in the proper numerical sequence. 10.27 SUBDIVISIONS: One subdivision name sign, not to exceed 20; square feet, may be permitted for each entry to a subdivision from a way. 10.41 CONTRACTORS, DEVELOPERS: For each con- struction or development project, there may be issued a temporary permit for one standing sign not to exceed 16 ¢, square feet in area, setting forth facts and names pert- inent to the subject. Such signs shall be removed forth- with when the project is completed. Action: Motion made and seconded to delete the word "Developers" and "or development", and to accept Article 2 as amended. Unanimous. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to amend the ex- isting zoning map of the zoning by-laws by changing the fol- lowing area from R-2 zoning district to C-2 zoning district: r ii E �
