This has been generally .accepted
and is proving to be quite successful. The citizens of Mash-
pee, for the most part, realize that the law is for the safety
of their dogs as well as for the protection of property owners.
During' this year the town dog pound has been moved to
This the sentry dog area at Otis. Th s is a great improvement p vement in_
kennel facilities for the town, and is also saving the town
much money in kennel replacement and maintenance ex-
pense. At Otis the kennel runs are_now.guarded by an attack
trained Doberman Pinscher.
A Rabies clinic will be held in April at the town hall.
Doge:owners ,are reminded they must show proof of state
required rabies innoculation before a dog license can be
issued. The rabies clinic provides a perfect opportunity for
dog owners to obtain their required-innoculation at a reason-
i
able cost, and get their 1975 dog license at the, same time.
Respectfully submitted,
DANIEL W. DUNHAM,
Dog Officer
