117
Report of the Bicycle Trails Committee
Preliminary steps have been taken by this study group
in order to determine all working aspects of bicycle trails
for Mashpee. Of particular importance is the planning of
the actual trails; taking into consideration 1) a linkage of
Mashpee with Falmouth and Barnstable, 2) connecting all
developments to one another, with a trail leading to South
Cape Beach, and 3) the winding of trails through Mashpee
to provide both a recreational activity and a trail of scenic
beauty.
It is our hope that in the near future .the actual con-:
struction of these bicycle trails can be started.
Respectfully submitted,
Mashpee Bicycle Trails Committee
i
Report of the Board of Health
To the Board of Selectmen
and Citizens of the Town of Mashpee:
The Board of Health hereby submits their report for
1974.
It has been a year represented by new and challenging
responsibilities as well as increased service to the 'existing
Programs. The appointment of a full time health agent has
enabled us to carry out and enforce the ever increasing and
demanding Rules and Regulations set by the State.
In .accordance. with the sanitary code, inspections of
food establishments, restaurants, public bathing areas, new
and repaired septic systems.were made prior to issuing per-
mits-and periodically thereafter.
