HICKS, <br /> Librarian <br /> it <br /> I' <br /> Report of the Shellfish Constable <br /> J <br /> To the honorable Board of Selectmen <br /> and the Citizens of the Town of Mashpee: <br /> { I, I hereby submit my report for the year ending May 1975. <br /> Since the death of our previous constable, Mr. Kenneth <br /> # Barclay, I was appointed Shellfish Constable by the Board <br /> I 4 of Selectmen. I was a deputy warden previous to being <br /> appointed as constable. <br /> I can report that there were a few scallops in Poppones- <br /> set Bay for the past season and only a fair amount in Wa- <br /> quoit Bay. <br /> A total of $2,265.00 was spent on the planting of oysters <br /> and quahogs and an area was opened up for the taking of <br /> oysters several times during the season. <br /> 1974 Shellfish Permits issued: <br /> 217 Non-resident at $7.00 $1,519.00 <br /> 87 Resident family permits at $3.00 261.00 <br /> 14 Commercial at $20.00 280.00 <br /> I wish to thank all the deputies for their services, and j <br /> also the Town Officials for getting records together to make <br /> j this report possible. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> VINCENT C.
