To be moved from its location on the corner of Red Brook Road and Great Oak Road onto Town property, or take any other action thereon. "Submitted by Mashpee Bicentennial Commission. Recommended by Finance Committee as it is felt that this will be an invaluable contribution to the legacy and history of the Town of Mashpee. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 27 as read. Unani- mously voted. Article 28: To see if the Town will take from available funds the sum of $2,300.00 for expenses of moving said building, clearing lot, putting in founda- tion and repairs (matching grant of 50%by the Commonwealth), or take any other action thereon. Submitted by Mashpee Bicentennial Commission. Recommended by Finance Committee provided that a breakdown be made available prior to the special town meeting showing the separate costs of moving the building, clearing the lot, putting in a foundation, repairing and providing sewerage and water facilities. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 28 as read. Unani- mously voted. i i Article 29: To see if the Town will vote to protect and preserve all Ancient Cemeteries and Burial Grounds in Mashpee as provided by Section 73A of Chapter 272 of the General Laws of the Acts of 1973 (The Grave Stone Act), or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Mashpee Bicen- tennial Commission. Recommended by Finance Committee as it is felt that this will also be an invaluable contribution to the legacy and history of the Town of Mashpee. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 29 as read. Unani- mously voted. Article 30: To see if the Town will take from available funds the sum of $3,500.00 to be used to clear (3)three cemeteries, set stones and fence off j areas with graves only: (1) on Route 130, Avant Burial Ground: (1) on Route 130, Attaquin Burial Ground; (1) on Lakewood Shores Development, or take any other action thereon. (Matching grant of 5016 by the Commonwealth). Submitted by Mashpee Bicentennial Commission. Recommended by Finance Committee provided that a breakdown be made available prior to the special town meeting showing the separate costs for clearing the cemeteries, setting stones and fencing off areas with graves only. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 30 to read: To see if the Town will take from available funds the sum of$3,609. to be used to clear (3)three cemeteries, set stones, and fence off areas with graves only: (1) on Route 130, Avant Burial Ground; (1) on Route 130, Atta- quin Burial Ground; (1) on Lakewood Shores Development, or take any other action thereon. (Matching grant of 50% by the Commonwealth). Amendment carried. Unanimously voted. Article 31: To act on any other business that may legally come before said meeting: ACTION: No further business to come before the meeting. 46
