SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT <br /> JANUARY 29, 1975 <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer the sum of$1,500. to <br /> the Fire Department's Wage Account. Unanimously voted. <br /> Article 25: To see if the Town will vote the following as a By-law: <br /> "It shall be unlawful to install a mechanical protection device that is <br /> automatically keyed to and/or listed to the Mashpee Fire Department and Police <br /> Department; all such devices installed before the effective date of this section <br /> shall be removed within sixty (60) days. Mechanical protection devices shall <br /> be defined as: an electrically operated instrument composed of sensory appa- <br /> ratus and related hardware which automatically spends over regular telephone <br /> lines, by direct connection or otherwise, a pre-recorded voice alarm upon <br /> receipt of a stimulus from the sensory apparatus that has detected a physical <br /> force or condition inherently characteristic of a fire or unauthorized intru- <br /> sion." Submitted by the Fire Department and approved by the Police Depart- <br /> ment. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 25 as read.
