i <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 21 as read. A unani- <br /> mous vote. (The sum of$6,000.00 to be raised and appropriated). <br /> Article 22: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br /> from available funds the sum of$1,334.00, said sum for the Mashpee American <br /> Legion Post#262 rent, or take any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 22. <br /> So voted. (It was acted upon in the Budget Article), <br /> Article 23: To see if the Town will vote to accept an easement from Fields <br />'! Point Manufacturing Co. for all purposes for which easements are commonly <br /> used within the Town of Mashpee, including the installation and use of utilities <br /> on and over the following described land: <br /> WESTERLY by land now or formerly of John H. Brooks, Jr. as <br /> shown on hereinafter mentioned plan two hundred ninety and 82/100 <br /> (290.82) feet; <br /> NORTHERLY by land of the Town of Mashpee, as shown on said <br /> plan, three hundred and 00/100 (300.00) feet; <br /> EASTERLY and NORTHEASTERLY by land of Fields Point <br /> Manufacturing Co. as shown on said plan, thirty and 00/100 <br /> (30.00) feet, and four hundred and 00/100 (400.00) feet, more <br /> or less, respectively; and <br /> SOUTHERLY by Route 151, so-called, as shown on said plan, <br /> five hundred and 00/100 (500.00) feet. Said parcel is delineated <br /> on a plan of land entitled, "Pole Locations, Mashpee Municipal <br /> Complex, Mashpee, Mass., Scale 1 in. equals 30 ft., October, <br /> 1974, Barnes Engineering Company, Inc., 411 Lexington Street, <br /> Auburndale, Mass." <br /> i <br /> 1 Said easement shall entitle the Town: <br /> i <br /> to build, maintain and use two driveways running approximately north and <br /> south over said area, the paved parts of said driveways not to be closer than <br /> twenty (20)feet from the side lines of said easements; to build, maintain, <br /> and use walkways; <br /> to improve said area by selectively clearing, brushing, planting, and <br /> landscaping; <br /> to install park benches and other improvements customarily situated <br /> i <br /> in park areas. <br /> Said grant of easement shall not include the right to permit the parking of <br /> vehicles nor the right to erect or maintain a building within the area of said <br /> easement. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 23 as read. A <br /> unanimous vote. <br /> Article 24: To see if the Town will vote to discontinue the following roads: <br /> Jobs Fishing Road from Nathan S. Ellis Highway (Route 151), <br /> to Bates Road; <br /> Wood Road from Nathan S. Ellis Highway (Route 151)to <br /> Bates Road; <br /> Great Hay Road from Nathan S.
