i ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 21 as read. A unani- mous vote. (The sum of$6,000.00 to be raised and appropriated). Article 22: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of$1,334.00, said sum for the Mashpee American Legion Post#262 rent, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 22. So voted. (It was acted upon in the Budget Article), Article 23: To see if the Town will vote to accept an easement from Fields '! Point Manufacturing Co. for all purposes for which easements are commonly used within the Town of Mashpee, including the installation and use of utilities on and over the following described land: WESTERLY by land now or formerly of John H. Brooks, Jr. as shown on hereinafter mentioned plan two hundred ninety and 82/100 (290.82) feet; NORTHERLY by land of the Town of Mashpee, as shown on said plan, three hundred and 00/100 (300.00) feet; EASTERLY and NORTHEASTERLY by land of Fields Point Manufacturing Co. as shown on said plan, thirty and 00/100 (30.00) feet, and four hundred and 00/100 (400.00) feet, more or less, respectively; and SOUTHERLY by Route 151, so-called, as shown on said plan, five hundred and 00/100 (500.00) feet. Said parcel is delineated on a plan of land entitled, "Pole Locations, Mashpee Municipal Complex, Mashpee, Mass., Scale 1 in. equals 30 ft., October, 1974, Barnes Engineering Company, Inc., 411 Lexington Street, Auburndale, Mass." i 1 Said easement shall entitle the Town: i to build, maintain and use two driveways running approximately north and south over said area, the paved parts of said driveways not to be closer than twenty (20)feet from the side lines of said easements; to build, maintain, and use walkways; to improve said area by selectively clearing, brushing, planting, and landscaping; to install park benches and other improvements customarily situated i in park areas. Said grant of easement shall not include the right to permit the parking of vehicles nor the right to erect or maintain a building within the area of said easement. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 23 as read. A unanimous vote. Article 24: To see if the Town will vote to discontinue the following roads: Jobs Fishing Road from Nathan S.
