It is a pleasure to submit
it for Mashpee school children are well housed, and
taught by well-trained teachers with adequate equip• f
ment and supplies. Since the principal's report is de-
tailed, my report will be limited to a few items.
Mrs. Edna P. Johnson
It is well to start this report by paying tribute to
I Mrs. Edna P. Johnson who resigned last June. During
all of her teaching service in Mashpee she was particu-
larly concerned that every boy and girl who came under
her direction received her close attention and was en-
couraged to make the most of his or her potentialities,
Not only did she teach her own pupils well, but her in-
fluence was felt throughout the building—indeed
throughout the community. We were sorry to lose her
and wish her many years of happiness.
Dental Clinics
L We again wish to commend to your attention the j
i. fine work of Miss Wye. The school health program in
Mashpee is a conspicuously fine one and is due in the
most
part to her work. Among the fine items please I
! note her report of the excellent dental clinics we have
I; had. It is hoped that the Board of Health will continue,
to provide a good school dental program.
i
I
i
}
I !
